Following receipt of your prescription, your medications are normally out for delivery within 48hours, although this can be longer for unusual or customised items. GP surgeries can take anywhere from 1-5 working days to send us your prescription following a request for repeat medication, therefore we ask you to request your repeat medication at least one week before you need it.
If you have repeat medication required every 28 days, just let us know that you’d like to go onto our automatic repeat medication system, which means we order your prescription for you and simply deliver your medications to you each month.
Our friendly team are available to help whenever you need us, so if you have any questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact us.
If you miss a delivery from us, you will receive a note through the door with information on how to arrange a redelivery.
You can contact us anytime and speak directly to our knowledgeable dispensers or the pharmacist handling your prescription.
EPS or Electronic Prescription Service allows your doctor to send your prescription electronically to your chosen pharmacy to dispense. Click here to find out more about EPS. If your surgery isn’t EPS registered, don’t worry, we can still deliver your medication. Simply ask your surgery to send your prescription to us or contact us for more information. We also offer free prescription collection from local surgeries.
At any time, you can choose to change your nominated pharmacy. Just let us or your surgery know your preference before your next prescription is issued.
Repeat medication is authorisation from your doctor that says you can be issued future prescriptions without having an appointment with your doctor. Whereas an acute prescription is normally for a condition that has just arisen, and may require review prior to further prescriptions being issued.
No. Pharmacy To My Door incurs all prescription delivery charges, and we deliver to you at no additional cost to you or the NHS.
Please let us know if you have any change in exemption. If you have received a certificate, please tell us your certificate number and expiry date, your surgery will not notify us of any changes to your exemption. Please be aware that providing the correct exemption information is the responsibility of the patient and that providing false information may leave you liable for a fine from NHS Prescription Services.
If you haven’t requested your prescription online or using the app, we will contact you to collect a payment before delivery, the easiest way to do this is to share your mobile number with us and we’ll text you to let you know a payment is required. For customers who pay for their prescription, we recommend the Healthera app as the preferred way of requesting your prescription.
